Annapolis Townhouse
One way to make a brand new home more steeped in tradition is to add custom built-ins and lots of moldings. This is what Fitzsimmons Design did when they were hired to do the interior design of this downtown home in Annapolis. The living room was not a large space but, we were able to maximize the seating in the room and build cabinetry to house the client’s very large collection of books in their living room. New furnishings were added to the client’s favorite leather chairs and custom made window treatments to finish the space.
The Master bedroom ceiling was done in a brick red center framed out in molding and a perimeter of taupe. The room has a very rich feeling with the deep tone colors. The custom cabinetry was added to house the TV and a corner shelving unit to display more of the client’s library.
